The IDC-360 series is a complete line of highly efficient 360-watt isolated DC-DC converters suitable for applications requiring galvanic isolation between the input and the output. The IDC-360iM series is based on the standard IDC-360 products but is equipped with automatic battery charging functionality. This enables the possibility of charging a battery connected to the output from another battery connected to the input. One benefit is that the charging voltage of the input battery does not need to match exactly the requirements of the output battery, allowing two different battery types to be connected. Another advantage is the motion detection, which can be easily adjusted using a potentiometer. Features of this isolated DC-DC converter include a compact housing, foldback current limiting, and protection against short circuits, overheating, overvoltage, and reverse polarity connections. The unit includes 6.3 mm «push-on» flat blade quick-disconnect connectors. The IDC-360A-24 isolated DC-DC converter is EMI/EMC compliant and conforms to European standards EN50081-1 (for EMI), EN50082-1 (for EMC), and the European Automotive Directive 95/54/CE.
